a lesson

hey people, this is something which i think i should post as, well, it's worth posting, just read through. today, around 11, my mum, bro n i went for "brunch", for those who don't get it, it's lunch+breakfast. haha, sorry, not trying to make you feel dumb, hahaha, seriously, i'm not.

Then, as i was sneezing, this guy with a bag full of "premier" tissues came and showed 2 packets to my mom, so she just took out 2 bucks and exchanged it for the 2 packets of tissue. Okay, fine, quite expensive for 2 packets of tissue, i thought but nevermind, i bet he needs it more than us.
What suprised me was that, my mum, asked him whether he had eaten, and offered to buy him lunch. okay, there i was puzzled, first, i thought:
1. how do you know he can't afford lunch?
2. mum, why are you being extra generous to this guy selling tissue?

So she went to order roti canai with filling for him and told him to sit down and eat when the food arrives. Then, he asked whether could takeaway, then my mum said it was okay. Then, i think he went around selling tissues cause he left for quite some time.So my brother and I were asking her why she was being so kind and generous(as in, more than usual) today.

"It's thanksgiving."I thought of turkeys and all, haha, and then we talked about thanksgiving for a while but my brother insisted that she didn't have to chia him but instead just pass him money and he'd buy whatever he wants.

"Sidney, and Shannon, have I ever told you that your grandpa(dad's) sold eggs everyday when he was 11, 12, 13 and so on?"(we nodded)"He went around houses selling eggs and he made one cent for every egg he sold.(1 cent last time during my gp's time was quite big)The money he earned would be used for groceries and meat for that day's meals, he had 8 or so siblings and if he didn't earn enough money, they'd just eat canned chai sin with rice. He'd usually earn more than a dollar or so which is enough for meat with vege for his family."

"Your grandpa was a student of St. Thomas' and they had built new toilets. The students had to pay a cent for every visit and after 2 weeks, your gp left school because he refused to pay 1 cent for every new toilet visit, and either tried to hold his urine or visit the old, dirty toilets. He didn't rela pay that money and thought that it'd be better to use it for food for his big family, he was laughed and teased by classmates(late teens already) and so he left school, don't look down on him as that time he could read, speak and write proper English."
Maybe 1 cent at that time was really really big but wow, what a shock, leaving school for 1 cent each day?My mum continued saying an old late family friend always remembered my gp for his trifty and spendthrift attitude, since young, as he was a teacher at that school and realized that my gp as a student never, or at least tried his hardest not to pay for the toilet visits..

My mum, siblings and parents didn't live a rich life, but instead perhaps what we consider moderate or poor. My gp(mum's) owned a small car and almost everyday to pri. sch, my mom with her elder sister(2 out of 4 only as their much older and the 2 younger siblings were still small) would push the car to get the engine running again. My gp then had another car after selling the previous car but the "new one" was 2nd hand as well, not long after the purchase they still had to do the same.

My mum asked whether we had every heard her dad, our gp talk about having been to many houses in Bampfylde area cause he was painting their walls for RM 5 a day, he would bring a huge tengkat with as much rice as possible and another container above it for the vege, packed by his mum. My mum said, if she could, she would like us to experience what, well, moderate or poor families eat as meals for a few days or perhaps a week, so that we could experience, understand and most importantly be grateful.

I was thinking about what my mum was saying and, she was right, compare our lives now to the generations above us, think about it, aren't our lives better now?

Tell me, how many of us has ever washed our own shoes? How many of us wash the dishes after meals on a DAILY BASIS?How many of us do chores, have only hand-me-downs, eat plain rice and vege only for meals? My point is that now, children nowadays, all of us, yes including me definitely, take many things for granted..What do you think? Are you the ones I'm refering to, if you are, then join the club, and hopefully we'll get out of it soon too.

Lesson for the day:
be grateful and thankful for what we are..
And not be spoilt brats..

Face reality guys.

Shannon, finishing another post.

Thorugh the eyes of an ex

Yes, i have an ex..

An ex-air hostess as an aunty! hahaha, caught you guys there eh?Seriously, do I look like the type who had boyfriend? Nope, I didn't think so too.

Well, we had this conversation in the car on the way home the other day and I thought it was rather interesting so I'll post it up:

Just a breif intro, my aunt worked as an air hostess (with her good looks) for quite a long time then finally quit and settled down with my uncle in kuching, they had kids like in their 30+ years lar.

Btw, don't really remeber the convo, most probably changed abit so yeah.
A for auntie lar, I'm lazy

A:Haiya, so tiring, having 3 kids is not easy. Shannon, remember, when you grow up, don't have kids late or else you'd regret like me. When you're quite old they're still very young. (sighs)
Me:But then you got to be an air hostess and travel halfway around the world! You enjoyed life a lot ler.
A:Yealah, those were the days. Sometimes I also traveled with your uncle, Las Vegas, Tokyo .....It was so fun, with the high salary again!(she worked with s'pore airlines)
Me:Auntie, last time in your time, airplanes are sort of a luxury for rich people right? Not so common like nowadays(airasia-now everyone can fly)
A:Yeah.
Me:Wow, you get to fly on almost a daily basis. It must have been an honour hor?
A:Yeah, all the air hostess and air hosts are all very poise, elegant and good looking, like models.. All above 5"7, slim, "shapy"..Not like now, some of the air hosts are shorter than the air hostess, you know, they're suppose to help you with your baggage, if they're shorter than you, how can they do that?
Me: (i laughed, i could see her point)But i guess the price you apid for travelling around the world for so long is that your kids are still small lar..
A:Yealor, but I enjoyed those years of my service as an air hostess.

Don't remember much of the conversation, but i have a point to make here..
malaysia, our country, fortunately and unfortunately practises discrimination>>you know, they pick looks for air crew and all, unlike in America or other countries. For job applicants, you cannot discriminate because they're fat or whatsoever, make judgement solely on their talents and skills in that job, or else they have the right to sue you till you're bankrupt! So yeah, that's my point for this post.

Do comment, thats all for now.
:) Shannon

WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?

Haha, was just thinking of a title and this reality show name came up to me..you guys should watch it, it's sort of brain humour, like u need to think to understand the joke, not like stupid jokes so yeah, haha!

Let's start with the ones i can remember...

(girl walks past with v short pants revealing her sexy, skinny thighs)
Girl 1:Oh my god!
Girl 2:Oh damn, anorexia!

Boy 1:Hey, can I touch your hair?(to boy 2 who has mushroom style hair)

Girl 1:Hey, girl 2, what time u going home?
me :Now i guess.
Girl 1:Okay, I'll follow you down, since you're my good friend and you're going to China tomorrow.
Boy 1:(appears at door) Eh, Girl 1, aren't you going down?
Girl 1:You following my car today is it?
Boy 1:Yeah.
Girl 1:Okay, bye Shannon!(walks away with boy 1..)

Girl 1:Eh, you know ar, boy 1 wears his pants when he bathes you know!
Girl 2:how you know?(girl 1 continue explaining n this is WHEN u can use ur imagination.....haha)
Girl 1:He say it's weird bathing with pants on...

Haha, yes, these lines i heard in real life..I hope you find them humorous too, if u don't then oh well!

That's all i got for now, tata!

Manila manila

I have recently traveled to Manila for..3/4 nights. It was rather enjoyable, and my parents and I were following a tour so we didn't need to find good eateries for lunch or hustle and bustle to get a cab so yeah, you get my point:D

My first night in Manila was a VERY bad impression..cause we arrived rather late at Clark Airport, like a small budget airport near Manilla and our tour guide was there waiting with his van. It took us around 2 hours to reach Manila and our hotel-Manila Pavillion.

You see, almost every hotel in Manila, has A CASINO IN IT. I could see in the casino and slot machines a bit when I reached the hotel cause the it was glass walls. It seemed...less fancy than I sorta expected out of a casino but of course, who am I to judge?Perhaps I watch too many movies which make the casinos super extravagant and luxurious..perhaps so..haha

So we reached the hotel around 10 or so, and we got our room. The shower was not exactly working, a very weak pressure. So I decided to bathe in the early morn, when I tried the shower for the second time(I was outside the bathtub), The pipes were sounding and gurgling like your stomachs when you're hungry(yes, this is when you use your imagination)and then the shower came on with a rather high pressure, like a normal shower but....

THE WATER WAS brown.Like seriously, it was brown and disgusting..We complained to room service and we were given a diff room and fortunately, the shower could function prop. :D

SO the next day we departed early to Rizal Park n the city where a monument was built to appreciate Jose Rizal, a national hero's "jasa" but the weather was hot so we just wanted to leave..

Besides that, we also visited this "city within the walls", it has a term in tagalok(their language, like "bm") but i dun rmb..It was built by the spanish, its some sort of fort which holes to place canons, like wow rite? THey fort was built by the spanish and they themselves live inside, defending themselves from the filipinos. If my history is wrong, please forgive me, u can go research on the web urself! haha

<<<the fort

I remember this other v significant place where we visited. It's a memorial place for
all the americans and filipino soldiers who died in the war, Manila American Cemetery and Memorial.
It was so beautiful, very hilly and huge patches of ground were covered with green, mowed grass and white crosses were placed in orderly rows, alphabetically. The crosses and patches of lawn(they were divided by roads for cars to drive on)went on and on and they were so neat, and big trees were planted here and there, providing shade and the landscaping was just simpy amazing. Imagine.
The bodies of the soldiers aren't there but it is to remember those who died in the war.
Trani limestone piers within the hemicycles are inscribed the names of 36,282 of the Missing who gave their lives in the service of America and who rest in unknown graves. Carved in the floors are the seals of the American states and its territories. The chapel, a tall stone structure enriched with sculpture and mosaic, stands near the center of the cemetery. In front of it on a wide terrace are two large hemicycles with rooms at each end.
The two rooms at the end of the two hemicycles had mosaic maps of the war. It showed the army force, arrows pointing to where they went, us navy, and they were all made in mosaic!
The whole place was beautiful and if you're going to Manila, make effort to go there as it is serene, peaceful, unique and rather worth going, to me

i am BACK(p1)

hello, people! I am utterly, terribly, very, totally SORRY. I know, I know..I haven't updated in ages! no millenniums! It's been 1,2,3,4.............FIVE weeks since I've last updated..haha, sorry, lately, the most major thing going on was EXAMS! glad it's over, I can finally..
1. sleep (as in the type of sleep where i can dream and not think about tomorrow's paper)
2. play sports (i've been skipping badminton cause i lack time to study..)
3. watch tv(MORE, hahaha)
4. blog??(i've just been lazy, haha)
Hmm...lets do it in an orderly order..haha

exams
exams were ok, hard? i don't know, i'll let the rest of the form 1 to judge...I'm very happy that the school sorta split the exams up to 2 diff weeks, giving us the weekend to study. The last day was the..."worst" cause ot was KH, PM and PSK.

F.Y.I If you don't have a reality check, all those subjects need our(students) undivided attention to rmb all those terms, nilai, etc. I spent 1 hour stupidly memorizing nilais i did not need to memorize for moral...swt rite? haha. SO the consequences was that i didn't study for PSK and only on the same day so my expectations for PSK...will not be too high..

so far, have gotten some papers back..equally satisfying, haha. my lowest is BM, oh yeah, that reminds me of something but i'll write about it lastly..

AFTER exams
it's sorta normal, i just don't need to like study till 9, 10..so yeah

others
well,i promised to blog about my trip to Manilla wuite long ago as i have been busy and lazy so yeah, it'll be a totally no pic post cause we didn't bring along a camera. haha.

ms elaine, our english teacher wants us to make a film during her lessons for the rest of the year which is what, 3 weeks? hahahaha

for bm, ckg joey wants us to play games on the 2nd last week which 1) needs thinking skill 2)bm skill and 3)teamwork. she says that we don't have all that so yeah.....our last week will be spent watching SAW!! a horror movie which i do not know until they mention, most probably revolves around a chainsaw eh? hahahaha

blog-reading teacher
btw, people, CIKGU JOEY, a teacher from lodge who enjoys giving us uji diris and making us copy 50, 100, 200 and 1000 times of mistakes is out there! as in in the cyber world! haha, hi cikgu :D So everyone please beware, ESPECIALLY students from 1B, C and D, do not write anything bad about this teacher..........or else..you know..

will continue next time

bm oral!?

i detest, hate, dislike doing my bm oral DURING HOLIDAYS! gee..yes, you can put the blame one me. Me and my stupid mouth which opened to VOLUNTEER to find the script for my group, yes, i volunteered, isn't it like putting workload on my own shoulders? crazy a? And whenever i mention about the oral script SOME PEOPLE from my group will NOT listen and keep saying that finding the script is MY responsibility...sigh

Well, at least i FINALLY got one, i wrote it..our last option was JERAT from sehijau warna daun...-.- Now, i just need to contact my group, fix up a time and day to meet up n practice, and hopefully be prepared in...one week's time..sigh. VERONICA, CHRISTOPHER, JASON N HUANG WEE, pls contact me ASAP. we seriously need to fix up a date n place for oral...sigh. yes HUANG WEE, i finally got a script. But like seriously, Ckg Joey actually planned out this oral thingy like months ago, literally. It was delayed because of the M.O.E format thingy, thank you guys for delaying it! And after months and months, my group finally got a script..I'm all worried and everything about this oral thingy and i think i'm going to crack, no, not DO crack, just CRACK...

any good hearted samaritan out there? help me contact chris, vero, jason n huang wee, please! thanks loads..

Sorry seems to be the hardest word...

Dear a friend of mine, if you're reading this..

I'm awfully sorry, I apologize
I should have known, I should have knew
That you're sensitive and we shouldn't have done what we did-
Pass the line, push the limits

May some of you find this post "emo" whatsoever
This post is mainly for one to read, mainly for her
I may not be a good "poet" but it'll have to do
As I'm not Shakespeare nor William Butler Yeats...-.-

Is started a joke, a game, as it always does
In the end, instead of laughter, we get tears
We're really sorry ,we couldn't understand that
you can't exactly differentiate joke and serious issue

We didn't mean to hurt you
As serious as we were, playing along with the joke
Teasing and insulting, not knowing whether being serious ourselves
Well, one thing is for sure, we're sorry

I cannot make a poem right now as all I can say is that I'm sorry.

Shoutouts...

As i know i have been not updating recently, i'm making it up a lot today by writing more posts than usual. Let me make a few rather belated shoutouts eh?

to my dear chloe sim,
though i'm sure you have heard this a million times but....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!(or shud i say belated?)
So sorry I missed it yesterday, but hey, it's the thought that counts right? :D
Happy birthday girl, make a wish, blow your candles and......
PARTY!!!!! hahahaha

To my teacher, Cikgu Joanna Wee
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BIRTH OF YOUR BABY SON!!(i don't know how to spell his name so i better not mention...)
Wow, that was rather unexpected eh? She said she'd go on maternity lift AFTER HOLIDAYS, early baby perhaps? Well, he's lucky cause he's an Olympics baby with a beautiful, PROSPEROUS(which chinese believe in) birthdate--8.8.2008
again teacher, congrats.

A teacher of mine...

It just occurred to me that I should blog about this teacher of mine.....I shall try to make it least offending an more humorous....

He teaches us two subjects-Moral and Sejarah(History). He is an experienced teacher in Lodge and nevertheless to say is a good teacher in a way. I think it's the subject but his classes are sometimes boring, see, I said sometimes. He has a dry/?? sense of humor, or are we just laughing at him? Haha, just a joke. He has a rather monotonous tone which makes the lesson more.......nevermind. He shouts suddenly to grab our attention for a (micro) second while we fall back to the abyss of boredom after that. He tells us all these extra details about the text which makes the lesson MORE interesting....and someimtes says these funny things or does these funny actions which makes us crack up and hey, that's a good thing right? Cause we're paying attention...haha

E.g. Stanley, are you a boy? (what kind of q. is that...) Speak loudly to prove you're a boy(stanley speaks softly) HEY(shouts) Stanley Cheng! are you a boy? Prove it to us by reading loudly! (Stanley reads text louder than ever and when he finishes) Good, Stanley, you ARE a boy. (what?! becaus ehe reads loudly???nevermind..) I look at my friends and give them the what the.. look.

E.g.We were learning about keselamatan kapal and he mentions airplanes and the safety things. He asks us what do the air stewardess and stewards tell us to do before we depart/land--Monotonously, we answer "seat beltss..." And then Serena mentions the safety demonstration and suddenly sticks out her hands like how the air stewardess does when she shows us the emergency doors--both hands pointing to the side and the front. We laugh and she laughs along too, and then our teacher makes all these actions which i THINK are suppose to be safety demonstrations?? He does a sign like ultraman and does some things with his arms and then covers his hand over his mouth, like wearing the oxygen mask! We all looked at each other and laughed and he laughs along as well! HAHAHAHA...

Well, i think that's all about this teacher of mine? Anything else, remind me please as i think these are the main points of his. Obviously, he is our DEAR class teacher-Mr. Henry Wong.
:D

Olympic madness!!

From the title, as you can see...it is the once in 4 years Olympics!!!!! If some of you haven't realized...-.-
Yay!! Today comes only once, yes, read my lips, once. Today is the 8th of the 8th month-August on the 8th year-2008. 08.08.2008

You ALL should watch it tonight, as it'll be even more special cause it starts on the (eight second, not sure) eight minute of the eight hour at night of the eight day of they eight month of the eight year!!! WOOT!!!!! go crazy everyone and run in circles and shout "OLYMPICS IS HERE!!! WHOOPEDOO!" (personally, i do not know why you all are making such a big fuss over it...sheesh...HAHAHA)

Olympics is the ultimate competition for all the athletes in the world, no matter small town athletes or state representatives, it happens once every 4 years and athletes who represent their countries from around the globe show up to see who is the best, of the best.
To prove themselves worthy of winning those oh so beautifully carved medals, not the fake cheap ones you can buy from shops... The pride of wearing them and the satisfaction of winning them, the honor of bringing them back to your country and the feeling(not literally) of everyone patting you on your back complimenting on what a swell job you have done. The Olympics is the competition where only the best will get to compete to see who is the best of the best.

In other words, the Beijing Olympics is going to be one hell of an Olympics.

No hard feelings k? It's all a joke :)

Hmm....i remember somehting tat happened a few days ago...
Johnathan moved to Bryan's seats to copy the notes on the board and he started naming a few teachers' names--Cikgu Joey, Chong Chiao Li(sorry if i spelt it wrong), tou can probably know what similarity they have...haha. And then he asked us for more teachers who have "the same similarity", I named one--Paula Abdul which isn't her real name and we all cracked up-Jeanette, Lin Na and I.Anyways, and then later johnathan got insulted or something in a teasing way and i asked him what happened and he said Kelvin said, yes KELVIN BONG, if u wanna blame someone if you feel insulted, blame HIM k? haha
oh yeah, back to where i stopped, Kelvin said "Tall people go to heaven and short people go to hell" hahahaha, it's funny tho i disagree, okay fine, i disagree ALOT, sigh, okay okay, i'll change it, i disagree TOTALLY, happy? people who beleive in god goes to heaven...not like what kelvin said...and then when i ehard it i laughed and i signalled kelvin and gave him a thumbs up! haha, lol. anyways, and then jeanette said "yay, shannon, i'm going to heaven with you!" she hi 5ed me and i looked at her and said "are you sure?" and because of what i said, she got all dramatic(saying ouch while placing hand at heart, putting hand at forehead and pretending to faint and telling me how hurt she is) and i spent the next half hour, not to mention the whole day apologising to her and telling her it's a joke....hahaha. jeanette on the other hand also INSULTED a few friends of hers, haha, about the tall people go to heaven and short people...thing. lol

That's all for this post, not much to elaborat...
P.S people, it's all a joke ok? No hard feelings and no, i'm not insulting any of you, just sharing this with you to give you a laugh :D

till next time

What A Day..

Okay, people I had a very extra-ordinary day, let me start from the beginning...

It all started during Sejarah period, Chiu Mei went up to teacher to get a book or something and then I kept pestering her so that she'd tell Mr. Wong she's sick, phone her parents and go home. And then, VIVIEN opened her mouth and said

"Chiu Mei, you're sick! Go home!" or something like that, and I kacau her saying she don't need to b kepo, and say that I'm a better friend to Chiu Mei or something like that, haha. And then Viv. asked me what sickness she had and I said "(boo sound) Vivien arr, what kind of friend are you? Don't even know what sickness she got! (boo)" And then she said something to me but I don't rmb so and then I said "Viv, do you know what she's sick of?(pause) YOU!" we said it at the same time you know? Haha. And then i went on saying that she's the disease everyone's sick of and i'm the medicine that cures them....haha.

(every single insult between Viv and I were jokes, we both didn't take it seriously and was just fooling around, as funny, insulting and rude as they are...haha)

And Viv. wrote me a v lame note which said I'm a nurse that wear miniskirt to attract Mr. Wong's attention and that my medicine is disgusting and and that's what the patients are sick of...etc. etc. I know, lame right? Haha, and I wrote back to her saying that

1:Since your stupid brain hasn't realised, it's a SCHOOl not a HOSPITAL
2:We all wear the same uniform, no miniskirts etc.

3:It's YOUR face that makes them puke and your FART that makes them faint(cause tim. suddenly said it's smelly like someone farted, haha)

She wrote somehting back but I don't rmb..So, we went on insulting each other lar, not seriously, just for fun, some how, we got to the topic of baldness la and then I said

"Viv, take off your wig! you look so ugly with it!"
"It's real hair stupid, not like yours!" and she started pulling her hair to prove it to me...
"I think you look better bald Viv, so you better take off your wig la.."
Some insult she shot at me, but I forgot, there's alot of stuff I forgot, I'll just breifly wrtie..
"Viv, do you know how ugly you look with the wig? You look better bald" "Do you know you look so ugly bald, people drew a potrait of you--IN SEHIJAU WARNA DAUN! (the pic. of Si Botak and Zainuddin in Makmal ZNF) hahaha

Then we kept insulting each other la, one better than the other, we were trying to keep quiet cause Mr. Wong was teaching Sej. and he called my name twice(the 1st
time Viv said he was so sick of me and my voice that's why he wants me to shut up, haha) and Viv once. haha.

"Viv, take that ugly mask off! Oh my god, it's not a mask, it's your face!"I said to her while tugging at my own face..Jeanette was sort of in between us la, and she was laughing secretly, I couldn't stop laughing either, cause our insults were TOO HUMOUROUS!! Jeanette sorta sided me cause she hi-5ed me everytime a threw a good insult at her..hahaha

I'll just list all the insults between Viv and I...

"Shannon is so flabby when she runs, her flab bounces up and down!"(she wrote it on the board which i erased, haha)
"ooh, Viv, I wonder where you got that idea from? Wait, perhaps from YOURSELF?"hahahaha
she jumped up and down everytime ii called her flabby including that comeback and said
"See, no flab!" I couldn't stop laughing and my sides hurt alot!
"Oh my gosh Viv, what's that moving under your uniform?! Your flab bouncing up and down!"
She jumped up and down again and I kept laughing...

Our "war" continued after Sej-during Science, not much during Ckg. Joey's and during lunch too! hahaha, actually we fought until after school, teasing each other whenever we see each other...hahaha...

Okay, next...

During er..afternoon break, Darren was fooling around with Yee Horng and he pushed him against the glass window and it broke! It was so..er, cool? It broke from the middle and the cracks spread, some glass fell down but the broken glass window stayed like that, with the cracks and everything. Mr Lim got rahter angry and said broken glass means bad luck or soemhting like that--how chinesy n fung shuiyy..hahaha

Next,Mr Lim had a huge temper during double periods, Veronica and Christopher who claimed to have passed up their books found the books in their bags, Chris secretly tried to put it back in the workbook pile which they just brought up from the staffroom, Daryl was sitting at teacher's table where the books were and Mr Lim asked him whether Christopher did so and told him to be honest, Daryl admitted and Mr Lim was livid with rage, he took the book and shouted at christopher, he called him a liar and when chris answered back he got louder and scarier, and then he asked Veronica whether her book was in the pile cause she said she remembered passing it up to him while he said otherwise. At that moment she said she found it...in her Geo book. Mr Lim was...what, furious?angry?scary? I dunno how to describe him. He took the 2 books and threw them on the floor, and saying to chris "I told you when I found your book I'd tear it to pieces!" Unexpectedly, he didn't. He knowcked down all the bottles and stuff on their tables and threw the books back, saying he'd show them to mr ling. Then, he scolded veronica and she answered back, which i think she shouldn't have cause no one should ever answer back a man who's angry like hell. She kept answering back and defending herself, saying she didn't lie about passing up her book, mr lim said she was lying and couldn't admitt even when everything came out--the workbook in the geo book. She said I only say sorry when I actually did something wrong. He was shouting at them or her for the next 10 minutes, growing angrier whenevr she answered him. He called her a spoilt brat and us--a class of liars...Someone was totally displeased when he said that, showing it on the face, folding the arms and all...just like whenever a lecture of his comes up. In one way, I admire that person because she stands up for what she thinks is right and argues when there is 'injustice'.

Well, that's all today I think, played bsb with Cass, Van, Andrea, Kathy and Icelynn and the boys after school..we lost---10 to 9......it was unfair cause the boys kept coming in, playing and outnumbering us....hahahaha

till next time..

Miss Sio left! O m g! Miss Sio! our science teacher who said she was strong and can stand us! Miss Sio? How could you abandon us?haha, (for some people, it's good news...need not mention who, everyone knows..you know it yourself too!) Once jeanette, lin na and I had a talk with ehr after some huge commotion in calss and she explained that she could stand and not quit/resign! Sigh, perhaps we(generally, all her students) really drive her crazy..1D students should take "credit" for this, mostlyla hahaha, not sure bout the other calsses tho..Well, we sorta teased and..made fun of her...hehe...Well, need not say much, you can visit www.linnaandsharlynn.blogspot.com to know more about what we did..hahaha. Miss Sio, we will definitely always remember you(in our hearts), just wish you the best! :D(we heard she was crying when she left the building....)

Now, a new teacher-Miss Tay replaced her. We were joking around saying that she's miss sio's daughter cause..she was wearing black and white on d first day..haha. Well, she's not bad, but we've got on her nerves more than once oledi...haha.i think some boys are falling for her you know? some students think she's HOT, miss tay if you're reading this, it's a compliment, hahaha. One day derrick told her that some form2 boy likes her and she came with an excellent comeback "well, do YOU like me derrick?" hahahaha, derrick blushed and said nothing...hahahaha

i think that's all a...sorry, can't think of more...when more stuff happen i'll blog.

happy birthday

happy birthday my dear Sharlynn!!! 12 years has passed and gone, may this year be the best YET!!!! :)
happy birthday to ms.elaine too..haha

Dear Sharlynn, I may have known you for only half a year,
Well, your birthday is finally here.
I want to wish you a very happy birthday,

But that's n0t all I wanna say.

Friends are people who stick with you,
no matter the skies grey or blue,
I hope I'm one to you too,
I promise you, I'll stay sincere and true.

We'll bring you out to the pubs, to party!
But too bad, we're a bit too young you see...
What d'you want, no, I haven't bought it yet...
maybe I'll get you something with the numbers:yeight yeight!!(eight eight)

It's your birthday, so don't feel down,
Don't show me those looks or your typical frown,
Think of happy stuff, like Peter Pan,
And together, we'll all fly away to Never Never land!!

Count your candles today friend,
make sure they're thirteen,
I'm sure diapers and baby powder is not all you've seen.

Let me bear you the misery,
of reading this boring poem and ending it,
Just celebrate this birthday happily,
by the way, this poem is originally by me!

happy birhday sharlynn! make a wish and blow the candles...

Happy Birthday Ko!

This blog is obviously for my one and only brother--Sidney! My quiet, brilliant, friendly, laid-back, patient, cool brother Sidney just turned 17 on 15th June, well, it wasn't a big celebration and all we did was go out to eat, mum wasn't around so the pics may seem incomplete.

Ko, we may argue sometimes but I want you to know that I love you, appreciate you being my big bro and want to wish you a Happy Birthday.

Well, we just went to a simple Korean restaurant to celebrate:

All of us eating Korean Steamboat

Men of the house celebrating together!!!

Happy Father's Day

To all the daddys out there, especially mine, haha, HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!! i know it's a very belated one but I've been busy lately so....

Well, it was a rather normal daddy's day, firstly we sent mom to airport, and then went for breakfast at secret recipe spring. The whole thing was v retarded as we, 3 siblings started out at kenyalang, but then sis was overdressed for breakfast and it was v hot. So we walked to spring which took like, 20 mins? And our clothes were soaking wet by the time we reached there, and guess what? WE HAD TO WAIT FOR SPRING TO OPEN AT 10 am...sweat man! like literally....after walking around with dad who jz arrived, we were looking for a nice place to have breakfast n finally chose S.R.

After that, we tagged along with dad and waited in car while he went up to find friend about business thingy. We were darn bored so I took my sis' camera out and started taking pictures. We took funny pictures until Dad came...I'll show you some later..

Because when we were back in town it was already like, 11:30? so my sis and I decided to stay home and not go to church cause only 30-20 mins left, my sis wanted to watch her singapore church service on9 and I was just...LAZY. there, I said it. My bro went to church as he wanted to get his b'day wishes...lol. Oh yeah, it's his b'day. Ill blog about it later. :P

Er...this was my toe nails my sis painted on Sat..haha!

My Sis photographing all of us through the mirror, you can see reflections, lol

All of us trying to imitate our toddler cousin Joelle who has lines instead of eyes when she smiles..:D
